World Class Squash at Trojans — A Great Success

The World Class Squash event hosted by Trojans Squash Club on Saturday 23 May was a brilliant success, drawing a packed crowd and delivering an unforgettable afternoon of top-level squash.

The day opened with junior coaching sessions led by Gina Kennedy (UK number 1, world number 9) and Jasmine Hutton (UK number 2, world number 16), giving young players a rare chance to learn directly from two of the country's best. The Play the Pro sessions that followed were equally popular, with club players stepping on court alongside the professionals.

The centrepiece was a best-of-five exhibition match between the two players, expertly refereed by Hampshire Squash legend Stan Thornton. The match was closely contested throughout and provided exactly the high-quality entertainment the audience had come for.
